In 1999, Suzanne moved to Lawrenceburg, Indiana from Virginia Beach, Virginia. In the summer of 2000, she began working for then Clerk Treasurer Grace A. Case as an office clerk. She continued her way up the chain to her current position as the Chief Deputy in 2014. To date, she has worked under a total of 5 different Clerk Treasurer’s from both political parties in which she learned a variety of business and interpersonal relations. She holds a BA in Finance, an MBA with a specialization in Accounting, IAMC Certification as an Accredited Municipal Clerk in the State of Indiana and in 2025 she earned her Certified Municipal Clerk status under the International Institute. She has served on the Executive Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters from 2013 to 2020, as ASG Foundation LLC Secretary from 2015 to 2026, on the Fall Fest Executive Board from 2017 to 2021, the Internal Control Board for the City since its inception in 2016, current Greendale Cemetery Board member, 2025 Woman of Distinction recipient, President of Sweet Memories of South East Indiana, as the Bond Bank Deputy Finance Director since 2017 and starting in 2026, the ILMCT Director for District 6 Indiana. Her son, Alex, is a 2014 Lawrenceburg High School Grad, a 2018 Ball State Graduate, and a 2022 Purdue University Graduate with his Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine. In the summer of 2022, he returned home and began practicing locally. Her husband retired from the City of Lawrenceburg in 2016. In their spare time, they enjoy watching their grandchildren’s sporting events, traveling and spending time at home with their fur babies or on their farm with family and friends. Having spent over 25 years with the City, she feels blessed to have been given the opportunity to serve the public and meet so many of the residents.
Jillian Burlew
Clerk-Treasurer Accountant
Jillian started with the City of Lawrenceburg in June of 2024 bringing with her a strong background in Construction Accounting and Project Coordination. She is involved in many of the daily accounting responsibilities for the Clerk Treasurer’s office such as Project Tracking, Accounts Payable and Budget monitoring. Jillian grew up in Bright, Indiana and graduated from East Central High School. She went on to receive her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Indiana University East. She now resides in Hidden Valley. In her spare time, Jillian loves spending time with her son, husband and their friends and family. Jillian feels very blessed to be given the opportunity to work for the City of Lawrenceburg.
Daiane Hyde
Clerk Treasurer Junior Accountant
Daiane started with the City of Lawrenceburg in August of 2014. She began performing double duties as the front desk clerk and AP backup for both the Clerk Treasurer and the Building Department Inspector. In 2020, she was promoted to Junior Accountant again splitting her responsibilities. This time, her focus was on necessary accounting duties between Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities ‘LMU’ and the Clerk Treasurer’s Office. Her position allows her to manage the Bank Reconciliations for the City and also assists with LMU Accounts Payable and Payroll. Daiane graduated from East Central High School in 2008 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University East, locally through Ivy Tech’s Accelerated Bachelor’s program and an Associates in Business Administration all while working full time as an Intern at Proctor and Gamble. After graduation, she was blessed to receive a position at the City of Lawrenceburg Clerk Treasurer’s office where she has expanded her skillset in local government and is currently working towards a certification for her IAMC. Daiane grew up in Lawrenceburg but currently resides in Moores Hill. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband and 3 young children. She is thankful to be a part of the City of Lawrenceburg and enjoys working with the public.
Hunter Klump
LMU Accountant
Hunter was hired into this position in April of 2021. Hunter is involved in accounting responsibilities of the utility department such as Payroll, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, and preparing financial statements as well as serving on the internal controls committee. Hunter resides in Lawrenceburg and graduated from East Central High School. He then attended Northern Kentucky University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance. In Hunter’s spare time, he enjoys watching sports and hanging out with friends.
Katie Wilkening
Clerk Treasurer Office Assistant
Katie started as an Intern for the City of Lawrenceburg in the Spring of 2023 and became full-time with the Clerk Treasurer’s Office in March of 2024. She is involved in many of the day-to-day functions within the office and is the first face you see when you walk in. After graduating from Rising Sun High School in 2022, she attended Ivy Tech as part of the ASAP program and graduated in 2023 with her Associate’s Degree in General Studies. She then earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting in 2025. She is currently working toward her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Katie continues to reside in Rising Sun with her three dogs, where they enjoy spending time outdoors. You will see her volunteering at several Main Street and City events throughout the year and she is very grateful to be working for the City of Lawrenceburg and its Community.
