The Lawrenceburg Community Center is a premier recreational facility located in downtown Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Our center hosts a full-size gym, community computer lab, gaming PC room, fitness center, billiard tables, and more. Use of the general, common areas, in the facility is free of charge for anyone. We are open Monday-Friday 7am-8:00pm and Saturday 8am-3pm. We are closed on Sunday and some holidays, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We are also closed on election day in Indiana as we serve as a Voting Center.
Morning Fitness programming includes Silver Sneakers, Stretch & Strength, LCC Yoga, Body Toning, Pilates, and Group Fitness. Classes are led by dedicated instructors ready to help you with your fitness needs. Pilates is offered when available per the instructor schedule (call for dates). These classes are $2.00 per person or free with Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, or Silver & Fit membership. Other exciting activities include Digital Literacy class (Thursday 1-3pm), Woodcarving (Thursday 9am-12pm).
We have open pickleball (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12:00-2:30pm). We also offer pickleball lessons for beginners and intermediate players during the summer. These are generally 4 to 6-week session, the participants meet twice a week.
Specialty events throughout the year include Summer Smiles with Liz program camps, LCC Youth Basketball, and Teen Skills Building classes.
