Scam alert – LMU Utilities

We have been contacted about a scam in our area. Customers are receiving a phone call from a local number with a representative posing to be someone from Lawrenceburg Utilities. They are telling you that you are due a refund for overpayment on your account and asking for your debit card or bank account info to send you a refund. Lawrenceburg Utilities will never contact you and ask for personal information such as debit cards or bank accounts. Please do not give out your personal information.
